I am directed by Mr sec Ch to ack the
receipt of your letter of the 11th inst,
No 219081, on the subject of the proposal
to establish a British Post Office at Tientsin.
2. The China League were informed in reply
to the lettter to which you refer that the
question of establishing an Agency at Tientsin,
to be worked in connection with the Post
Office either of Wong Kong or of Wei hai Wei
was receiving the attention of those two
Covernments.
